Join Grantlee Kieza as he discusses his latest book ‘Ellen Savage and the heroes of AHS Centaur’!

Follow the story of Ellen Savage, a fearless nurse from country New South Wales, who emerged from a whirlpool of fire and burning wreckage and survived one of the deadliest wartime attacks on Australia – the sinking of the hospital ship, the Centaur.

You may know Grantlee Kieza OAM from his incredible work as the bestselling Australian history author of ‘Sister Viv’, ‘The Remarkable Mrs Reibey’, ‘Lawson’, ‘Banjo’ and many other autobiographies of influential Australian figures. Kieza also held senior editorial positions at The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph and The Courier-Mail for many years and was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for his writing.
