The Red Cross Pillow Case Program

The Pillow Case Program is delivered by Red Cross volunteers and staff. This workshop encourages children to be active participants in their own emergency preparedness. The content is useful for all kinds of emergencies and includes activities to highlight the importance of being prepared. Pillowcase helps to reduce real and imagined fears and has successfully built children’s stress management skills.
 
All children receive their decorated Pillowcase, a Get Ready colouring book plus a Trauma Teddie and parents/carers take home our RediPlan workbook.
 
 

The Pillowcase Program helps children prepare for, cope with and respond to an emergency.
