Get ready for summer fun at the library!

Adventures are calling at Muswellbrook Shire Libraries.

Local youngsters, up to 12 years, are invited to discover their local library these holidays by joining the Summer Reading Club. Club members will have the chance to win some fantastic prizes simply by reading books, listening to audiobooks, completing fun challenges, learning new skills and joining the library scavenger hunt.

Library members who are travelling during the school holidays can arrange for a travel book pack or take advantage of the library’s vast online collection of eBooks, eAudiobooks and digital Story Times.

Registrations for Summer Reading Club open on 1 December. Sign up at Muswellbrook or Denman library and receive a free library bag and challenge booklet filled with challenges for you to complete.

How it works

• Members of the library aged 0-12 are welcome to enter. Not a member? Don’t worry you can register for free, either at one of our branches or online here.
• You will receive a booklet to track your reading, scavenger hunts and challenges.
• Ask for stickers when you visit the library to help you keep track of your reading.
• Complete the challenges to add entries into our major prize draw. Each challenge you complete earns 1 entry.
