Room Hire at Muswellbrook and Denman Libraries

Muswellbrook and Denman Library branches have a range of fully accessible and air conditioned multi-purpose meeting spaces for administration, teaching, events and workshops. From individuals looking for quiet study spaces to businesses running community workshops, we have spaces to fit your needs. The following page provides information on available rooms for hire for both small and large groups.
Booking a room
Pre-booking for these rooms is essential. To check room availability, reserve a room, make payments or manage your current reservations, please visit our online portal. Please contact the Library if your hire is outside of Library Opening Hours. Please check room capacities prior to confirming bookings – Library staff may be unable to offer alternate spaces on the day of your booking. Please note that minimum hire periods apply for all spaces.
Business or organisational customers are required to present a Certificate of Currency for $20m (Public Liability) upon booking which must be received prior to use of the room.
Muswellbrook Library Meeting Rooms
This small meeting room is available for hire during Library Opening hours and seats up to 4 people.
Meeting Room 1 Hire Fees inclusive of GST:
- Non Business use by Library members up to 3 hours FREE
- Visitors, Businesses and non members up to 3 hours: $10.50
- All Users Per day: $76.50
- All cancellations within 24 hours will be charges at 50% of quoted fee
This meeting room is available for hire during Library Opening hours and seats up to 20 people.
The Community Room is equipped with a range of technologies including Smart TV, Logitech web camera, Wifi, PC, and HDMI Input for laptop connectivity.
Community Room Hire Fees inclusive of GST:
- Community Groups up to 3 hours FREE (conditions apply)
- Visitors, Businesses and non members per hour: $38.00
- Visitors, Businesses and non members up to 3 hours: $115.00
- All Users Per day: $153.00
- All cancellations within 24 hours will be charges at 50% of quoted fee.
The Muswellbrook library seminar room is available during and after opening hours. This room is furnished with 12 large flip up tables and seating for up to 40 attendees (theatre style). The space is equipped with a range of technologies including a Commbox with Wireless, Bluetooth, HDMI and USB connectivity, Web Camera (upon request) and wifi. A stocked kitchenette is available with tea and coffee supplies as well as a catering fridge.
Seminar Room Hire Fees inc. GST
- Per hour: $86.50
- Up to 3 hours: $259.00
- Per day (over 3 hours): $345.00
- Cleaning Fee (applied to rooms left in an untidy manner) $68.00
- All cancellations within 24 hours will be charges at 50% of quoted fee.
Denman Library Meeting Rooms
The Denman library has one community meeting rooms available for use. This room is available for bookings outside of library opening hours and includes access to toilet and kitchenette facilities. This room currently seats up to 15 people and is available for hire outside of Library opening hours upon request.
