LATEST NEWS

Easter Closure Period

Muswellbrook and Denman Libraries will be closed for Easter from Friday, April 7 April through to Monday, April 10 inclusive.

Muswellbrook Branch will re-open on Tuesday April 11, from 10am

Denman will re-open on Tuesday April 11, from 2pm

Both branch’s returns chute will be available during this time for any returns.

WHAT’S ON FOR SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

EASTER BISCUIT DECORATING

Create Easter decorations that look good enough to eat! Luckily they are! Join us at Muswellbrook and Denman Libraries to decorate your own Easter Biscuits! 

Denman Library: Thursday, April 13 from 10:00AM

Muswellbrook Library: Wednesday, April 12 from 10:30AM

Open for ages 4-10 years.
All children under the age of 13 must be supervised by an adult.

Bookings are essential. Contact Muswellbrook Library on 6543-1913 or Denman Library on 6547-2208 to book.

DIY CLOTHING CUSTOMISATION

Get creative at the Library and create your own custom clothing designs. Bring along your own shirt or shoes and use paint, markers and more to create something entirely your own!

Denman Library: Friday, April 14 from 10:30AM

Muswellbrook Library: Wednesday, April 19 from 10:30AM.

Open for ages 11 – 18 years.
Children under the age of 13 must be supervised at all times

Join us weekly at our story time and rhyme sessions filled with stories, song and creativity.

MUSWELLBROOK LIBRARY’S SESSIONS

Baby Rhyme Time: Monday mornings at 10:00AM – 10:45AM

Story Time and Craft: Thursday mornings at 10:00AM – 11:00AM

STEM Story Time: The third Thursday of the month from 10:00AM-11:00AM

DENMAN LIBRARY’S SESSIONS

Story Time and Craft: Thursday mornings at 10:00AM – 10:30AM

LEGO CLUB

Put your Lego building skills to the test at Muswellbrook and Denman Libraries with our monthly Lego Club!
Join in on challenges that will make you think outside the box and push your building skills to the limit.

MUSWELLBROOK LIBRARY’S SESSIONS

Muswellbrook Library’s Lego Club is held on the first and third Mondays of each month. This month’s sessions will be held on Monday, April 3 and 17 from 3:45pm to 4:45pm.

DENMAN LIBRARY’S SESSION

Denman Library’s Lego Club is held on the second Monday of each month. This month’s session will be held on Monday, March 17 from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.

Suitable for ages 6 – 12 years.
Children under the age of 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

BOARD GAMES AT THE LIBRARY

Board games are now available to play at Muswellbrook library! We have a variety of board games for you and your friends to play for FREE with your library membership.

Visitors under the age of 13 must me supervised by a parent or carer.

Library membership is required for the use of board games. Membership is free however, members under the age of 18 require a parent or guarantor to sign them up.

GAME AT THE LIBRARY

Console games are now available to play at the library! We have a variety of X-Box, PlayStation 4 and Wii games for you and your friends to play for FREE with your library membership.

Members under the age of 13 must be supervised by a parent or carer.

Library membership is required for the use of game consoles. Membership is free however, members under the age of 18 require a parent or guarantor to sign them up.

Virtual reality gaming will be available for Ages 13+ each Friday afternoon from 2PM at Muswellbrook Branch.
A parent or carer must be present for the first session.

Our FREE Click and Collect services are now available at Muswellbrook and Denman Branches to eligible library members. Reserve things you are interested in or let us make selections for you.
