WHAT’S ON FOR SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

ANIMAL TRACKS: CELEBRATING NAIDOC WEEK

Follow and track what do you see?

Join us on our search for Aussie creatures, we will identify animal tracks and create artworks inspired by our discoveries.
We will explore through books how Indigenous Australians use bush tracks to explore the land.

Denman Library: Monday, July 3 from 10:30AM

Open for ages 4-10 years.
All children under the age of 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

CLAY CREATIONS

Come along to our Muswellbrook Branch to our Clay Creations session and let your creativity run wild.
Materials will be provided.
Muswellbrook Library: Wednesday, July 5, from 10:30AM.

Open for ages 6-12 years.

BLUE HEELER ART STATIONS

Come along to Muswellbrook Library and give us a hand in creating the pawfect Blue Heeler statue for the upcoming Great Cattle Dog Muster!
We will have a variety of dog themed painting activities available.

It could get ‘ruff’, so be prepared to get messy. Old clothes highly recommended.

Open for ages 4+ years.

BLUE HEELER ART STATIONS

Come along to celebrate the upcoming Great Cattle Dog Muster by participating in our Blue Heeler art stations.

There will be a number of activities on offer including the opportunity to decorate a fabric square to be used in the making of a coat for our statue.

Denman Library: Friday, July 14, from 10:30AM – 12:30PM.

Open for ages 3+ years.
All children under the age of 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

STORY TIME AND BABY RHYME TIME

Join us weekly at our story time and rhyme sessions filled with stories, song and creativity.

MUSWELLBROOK LIBRARY’S SESSIONS

Baby Rhyme Time sessions will run on Monday July 3 and 10 at 10:00AM – 10:45AM

Story Time and Craft will run on Thursday, July 6 at 10:00AM – 11:00AM

A NAIDOC Week Story Time session will take place on July 13 from 10am, with the Wanaruah Local Aboriginal Land Council.

All children under the age of 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

LEGO CLUB

Put your Lego building skills to the test at Muswellbrook and Denman Libraries with our monthly Lego Club!
Join in on challenges that will make you think outside the box and push your building skills to the limit.

MUSWELLBROOK LIBRARY’S SESSIONS

Muswellbrook Library’s Lego Club is held on the first and third Mondays of each month. This month’s sessions will be held on Monday, July 17 from 3:45pm to 4:45pm.

STEM LEGO SESSION

Build a car and see how far it goes!
Come along to Muswellbrook Library for a special school holiday STEM Lego Challenge will have you testing your building skills by creating a vehicle to see how far it goes!

DENMAN LIBRARY’S SESSION

Denman Library’s Lego Club is held on the second Monday of each month. This month’s session will be held on Monday, July 10 from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.

Suitable for ages 6 – 12 years.
All children under the age of 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

BOARD GAMES AT THE LIBRARY

Board games are now available to play at Muswellbrook library! We have a variety of board games for you and your friends to play for FREE with your library membership.

Visitors under the age of 13 must me supervised by a parent or carer.

Library membership is required for the use of board games. Membership is free however, members under the age of 18 require a parent or guarantor to sign them up.

GAME AT THE LIBRARY

Console games are now available to play at the library! We have a variety of X-Box, PlayStation 4 and Wii games for you and your friends to play for FREE with your library membership.

Members under the age of 13 must be supervised by a parent or carer.

Library membership is required for the use of game consoles. Membership is free however, members under the age of 18 require a parent or guarantor to sign them up.

Virtual reality gaming will be available for Ages 13+ each Friday afternoon from 2PM at Muswellbrook Branch.
A parent or carer must be present for the first session.

Our FREE Click and Collect services are now available at Muswellbrook and Denman Branches to eligible library members. Reserve things you are interested in or let us make selections for you.
