Cloth Nappy Workshop at Muswellbrook Library

King’s Birthday Closure

Muswellbrook and Denman Libraries will be closed on Monday June 10 for the King’s Birthday public holiday.

Our Muswellbrook Branch will re-open Tuesday, June 11 from 10am.

Our Denman Branch will re-open Tuesday, June 11 from 2pm.

Both branch’s returns chute will be available during this time for any returns.

WHAT’S ON FOR CHILDREN

STORY TIME AND BABY RHYME TIME

Join us weekly at our story time and rhyme sessions filled with stories, song and creativity.

MUSWELLBROOK LIBRARY’S SESSIONS

Baby Rhyme Time: Monday mornings at 10:00AM – 10:45AM

Story Time and Craft: Thursday mornings at 10:00AM – 11:00AM

STEM Story Time: The third Thursday of the month from 10:00AM-11:00AM

DENMAN LIBRARY’S SESSIONS

Rhyme Time sessions will run weekly on Mondays from 10:00AM.

LEGO CLUB

Join in on Lego building challenges that will make you think outside the box and push your building skills to the limit. Bookings are essential.

MUSWELLBROOK LIBRARY’S SESSIONS

Muswellbrook Library’s Lego Club is held on the first and third Mondays of each month.
Monday, June 3 and 17 from 3:45PM to 4:45PM.

DENMAN LIBRARY’S SESSION

Denman Library’s Lego Club is held on the second Monday of each month.
Wednesday, June 12 from 3:30PM to 4:30PM.

Suitable for ages 6 – 12 years.
Children under the age of 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

CIRCLE TIME AT MUSWELLBROOK LIBRARY 

Join us at Muswellbrook Library for an interactive Circle Time sessions. Read some books, do activities, learn some new songs and let’s move to the beat! Suitable for ages 0-6 years.

Circle Time sessions will be fortnightly on Tuesdays. Sessions this month will be held on Tuesdays, June 4 and 18 from 10am.

Join Ben Hobson in conversation with author Cameron Stewart to discuss his lyrical and profound debut novel ‘Why do Horses Run?’.

OUR SERVICES

HOME LIBRARY SERVICE

Did you know we run a free home library service to housebound members of the Muswellbrook and Denman Communities? We can pick for you, or you can use our online catalogue to make a selection of books, DVDs, CDs and Audio books that pique your interest. We also have audio readers available for members with low to no vision.

Deliveries will be made on June 11th and 25th.

These BYO device sessions are designed to help you get started on library digital collections, learn how to use your device and general tech assistance.

These sessions can be booked one-on-one for a maximum of half an hour.
