International Women’s Day: Inspire Inclusion
Friday March 8
For International Women’s Day 2024 and beyond, let’s #InspireInclusion.
When we inspire others to understand and value women’s inclusion, we forge a better world. And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there’s a sense of belonging, relevance and empowerment.
To truly include women means to openly embrace their diversity of race, age, ability, faith, body image, and how they identify. Worldwide, women must be included in all fields of endeavour.
Visit your local branch and see what we have on display for International Women’s Day.
The Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre and Muswellbrook Shire Council are hosting a morning tea in celebration of International Women’s Day from 11am to 1pm on March 8. See more information here.

Harmony Week
March 18 – March 24
Harmony Week is a time to celebrate Australian multiculturalism, and the successful integration of migrants into our community.
Australia is one of the most successful multicultural countries in the world and we should celebrate this and work to maintain it.
Harmony Week is about inclusiveness, respect and belonging for all Australians, regardless of cultural or linguistic background, united by a set of core Australian values.
To celebrate Harmony Week and the Holi Festival, Muswellbrook Library will be hosting a messy colour Story Time Session on Thursday March 21 from 10am.
