New Curiosity Kits

Muswellbrook Shire Library and the STEM Innovation Lab are joining forces to launch a new collection of Curiosity Kits – hands-on kits designed to spark imaginations and bring fun to science through experimentation and exploration. Our new kit collection is now available to loan FREE from Muswellbrook Library. ​

 The Muswellbrook Shire Curiosity Kit collection currently has 5 different kit sets available for loan:

• Ozobot Bit+
• Blue Bot
• Backyard Explorer
• Snap Circuits
• Edison Robots

All Curiosity Kits are available to loan to Muswellbrook Shire Libraries members free of charge. Single kits or a set of kits for group usage may be reserved by contacting the Muswellbrook Library on 6543-1913. Junior Library members require guarantor approval prior to loaning kits.

Military Memorabilia Display
During November at the Muswellbrook Library.

We are very privileged at the Muswellbrook Library to soon have on display an amazing exhibition of military memorabilia courtesy of a Shire local, Terry Gill.

This vast collection covers many conflicts. Leading up to Remembrance Day it is wonderful to be able to showcase these items in remembering our veterans. Be sure to take the time to come and have a look.

Rhyme Time sessions will run weekly on Mondays from 10:00AM.

LEGO CLUB

Join in on Lego building challenges that will make you think outside the box and push your building skills to the limit. Bookings are essential.

MUSWELLBROOK LIBRARY’S SESSIONS

Muswellbrook Library’s Lego Club is held on the first and third Mondays of each month.
Mondays, November 4 and 18 from 3:45PM to 4:45PM.

DENMAN LIBRARY’S SESSION

Denman Library’s Lego Club is held on the second Monday of each month.
Wednesday, November 13 from 3:30PM to 4:30PM.

Suitable for ages 6 – 12 years.
Children under the age of 13 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

We can pick for you, or you can use our online catalogue to make a selection of books, DVDs, CDs and Audio books that pique your interest.
