Character Design and Puppet Making Workshop – Years 7-12

Learn skills in character design and puppet making for animation for students in years 7-12.

Join award-winning animators and film makers, Jelena Sinik, Nicolette Axiak, and Carl Stewart as they guide participants step-by-step through character deisgn and puppet making for animation.

This workshop will cover:

• Designing unique characters
• Building armature puppets
• 2D to 3D translation
• Designing for purpose
• Creative visualisation
• Sculpting and crafting
• Creative problem solving

All materials will be supplied.
