First Years First Aid at Muswellbrook Library
Tuesday, July 23rd from 10am – 1pm.
At some point, every family will experience a baby or child health concern. Learn how to deal with it calmly in our specialised baby and child health workshop.
This session concentrates on the newborn stage right through to about 8 years of age and is run by a qualified Intensive Care Paramedic, with over a decades worth of experience. Focusing on providing real life, practical advice, we want to ensure you can respond with confidence when faced with a crisis.
This workshop will cover:
  • How to recognise common childhood illnesses and injuries.
  • How to monitor for red flags to know when to seek help.
  • Practical application of critical first aid which may mean the difference in your child’s health outcomes.
  • Where to find the appropriate help.
